Aldwark Manor Photograpy.
Aldwark Manor situated in the very heart of Yorkshire between York and Harrogate  was the choice of wedding venue for Natalie and Solomon.
The hotel is surrounded by 120 acres of parkland forming the perfect location for your wedding photographs.
The weather was unusually hot for the time of year and more like a fine summers day instead of a spring day in April. Following a traditional village wedding at St Mary’s Church in Alne it was back to Aldwark Manor for the rest of the days celebrations.
While in the warm sunshine guests enjoyed tasty canapés on the terrace as we started the family photos in the rear garden. Working to Natalie and Solomons list we quickly finished the formal photographs and moved onto some feature photos of Natalie and Solomon together in the grounds.
With all our wedding photography packages including those at Aldwark Manor, we offer an evening slideshow featuring about 70 fully edited photographs which is always a big hit with the wedding party.
Call or email to check availability and see how Graham Charles Photography can help create your perfect wedding album.

Wedding Photographer East Riddlesden Hall | Rebecca and Jason
Finally got around to up-dating our blog with the country- vintage styled wedding of Rebecca and Jason at East Riddlesden Hall.
If you’re recently engaged and looking for a venue full of charm a character, take a look at East Riddlesden Hall. We often don’t realise some of the natural beauty that’s right on our doorstep and East Riddlesden Hall is only a few miles from our home, it’s a beautiful place to photograph a wedding.
The Hall is now owned and run by the national trust, this 17th century manor house was originally built for a wealthy Halifax business man. The main house overlooks a large duck pond and a couple of barns one of which has been converted and used for the ceremony and wedding party.
Here’s just a small selection of our favourite photos, many of which were displayed on our evening slideshow giving everyone a sample of photos from earlier in the day.

While the UK was being battered by Storm Desmond, we we’re on our way to the Woodlands Hotel near Leeds in West Yorkshire for the wedding of Chelly and Craig. As we arrived, fortunately the worst of the rain was being unloaded onto Cumbria and sadly for the residents, the Lake District became a lake with many areas suffering catastrophic flooding.
Drawing into the car park we meet Chelly who had just arrived herself, Brenda went to start the day’s photography with the girls while I joined Craig, best men and ushers.
As we progressed through the day, I had envisioned a shot emphasizing the days stormy and very windy conditions, later in the evening we started our evening photo session with Chelly and Craig, I suggested we go outside, Chelly and Craig we’re happy to do this, so we had to make sure we worked very quickly to complete the photos.
15 minutes later and we we’re all done, back inside nice and warm. The next day all photos were loaded into Lightroom for post production and when I saw the windy dress shot, I was blown away (no pun intended) I just loved it. The shot below is our final result, wind, romance, beautiful dress, and featuring the love of a newly married couple starting on their adventure through life together.
Please give us a call on 01274 531524 or email to see how Graham Charles Photography can help create perfect photos of your dream winter wedding at the Woodlands Hotel.
